Birds of Honduras at Pico Bonito
A Photography Workshop, photographing the birds of Honduras at the Pico Bonito Lodge.
Scheduled Dates: January 30 - February 5, 2011
Workshop Hightlights
This workshop will focus on getting wonderful images of the magnificent tropical birds found at Pico Bonito Lodge.
The area is home to over 350 different bird species, including Keel-billed Toucan, Collared Aracari, six types of Motmots, many Tanagers and Hummingbirds, as well as the amazing Lovely Cotinga!
With help from the knowledgeable Lodge guides and me (Roy Toft), I’m certain people can get wonderful pictures of dozens of colorful tropical birds!
I spent 10 days on assignment for Audubon here in Jan/Feb. 2008 and photographed over 50 species of birds! During that time I was also taking “story” pictures which kept me from the birds for half of those days. Check out the March/April 2009 Audubon story and cover photo.
